Days -1 and 0

2013 July 18

So I decided to copy Beverly and do a travel blog. My flight arrives in Buenos Aires tomorrow, which makes today day 0 and yesterday -1. Because I’m writing this from the Des Moines airport, I ran out of free WiFi (thanks, Boingo) and can’t post this with the pictures in the text since now I’m using a mobile app 🙁 🙁 :(. Whatevs.

I had some ISU friends come and visit me in the hotel yesterday, and I realized it was the last time I’d see people I knew for 3.5 months. We got pizza at Fong’s (traditional Asian Italian food) and shakes at Zombie Burger (traditional Zombanian food), which I surprisingly couldn’t finish. After swimming in the hotel pool the girls had work in the morning and left me to myself. But now I’m traveling a far distance by myself for the first time and feel somewhat adult-y I guess. This trip should be interesting. Whatever Argentina brings to the table I’ll be prepared.
